Can’t remember the last time we were out this early.

I’ve always liked the Saints and Brees and NOLA is a great city.

Also wouldn’t mind the Titans. I love Nashville, and respect to Vrabel, Dion and Ryan.

Jimmy G!

Onply teams I‘d actively root against ar Baltimore and KC (both of which are kind of likeable teams, but hate their fans) and the Eagles (which has Lane Johnson, and I hate their fans).

It helps that I'm in the bay area, but definitely pulling for Jimmy G and the Niners going forward. I also wouldn't mind if the Chiefs won, I like Reid and Mahomes is amazing to watch. Rooting hard against the Ravens, Packers and Saints.

I don't care. The Colts and Steelers aren't in it and they're the only teams I actively root against.

I actually don't like the Saints / Brees -- the fans are a bunch of babies and Brees is a weirdo. So among the 10 teams left they're definitely 10 for me. I'd say Vikings or Seattle, but I'm pretty indifferent.

4. HOU
5. MIN
6. SEA
7. KC
8. GB
9. PHI
10. Iran
11. BAL

Titans in the AFC, Niners in the NFC although I’d also be happy to see the Vikes come out of the NFC given how cursed that franchise has been.

I’m more or less neutral on NO, SEA, and HOU. And will be rooting against KC and Baltimore as AFC rivals to the Pats and Philly and GB in the NFC because they have both won it all fairly recently.

I am in the Bay Area and I am rooting for anyone but the 49ers. A large contingent of the fan base just showed back up this year, but mostly because I don’t want to have to deal with Jimmy G winning a SB the year the Pats finally don’t make it to one.

Celtics? The persecution complex has helped me wish ill will on every other team. But, one of my friends is a passionate Saints fan who actually got season tix a few years and flew or drove from RI to catch games...so them I guess.

I was rooting for the Bills at the start of the day, but they managed to muck that up. The preference between 1 and 7 below is pretty minimal.

1. Saints
2. Titans
3. Vikings
4. Chiefs
5. Texans
6. 49'ers.
7. Seahawks
8. Eagles
9. Ravens. Which is too bad as I really like to watch Lamar Jackson.

Has a city/state ever won the NCAA championship and Super Bowl in the same year? And, yes, I know LSU is in Baton Rouge.

Anyone but the Ravens.

I should amend this to add the Eagles as well.

And Seahawks too, maybe?

How about this: No bird teams, please.

I would actually root for the 49ers if Mullens was playing. I just can’t bring myself to root for Jimmy G after some many people wanted to keep him over the greatest QB I have ever had the privilege of rooting for.

Bucs and Canes are close, not sure if it’s the same year

edit: Dolphins list in 83? Canes won that year

Pitts in 76? I’m not sure if these line up

I have always ben a Niner fan at heart. I root for the Pats mostly because of my love of the Red Sox.

Niners have had an awfu awful run, mostly done in by lousy ownership (with the exception of the interim Harbaugh years) until they finally gave the reins to the right coach/GM combo and let them do things right. It was easy for fans to start wandering after seeing the team muck up Alex Smith's career and choose coach after coach in such a lousy way (Jim Tomsula?) So yeah I am rooting heavily for the Niners.

My duaghter is now a die hard Saints fan. She's back from College and we will be watching and rooting tomorrow.

Other than that maybe the Titans.

1. KC for Mahomes and Andy Reid. I'd hold my nose about the rest of their, um, island of misfit toys. To say nothing of their racist-as-shit fanbase. Man, now I'm talking myself out of it.
2. MIN, those fans have suffered the hardest of any team still in it.
3. GB, I like Rodgers, and Packers fans are among the least insufferable fan bases among decently-managed teams
4. TEN. Vrabel remains eligible. Why the hell not.
5. SEA. I like Carroll, I like Wilson. I still think of Wilson as being his character from ProFootballMock.
6. HOU. I guess. No strong opinions on them.
7. NO. Brees is fine, but the fanbase is one of the more entitled groups of whiners I've come across. Can't put them any lower because they, too, have experienced the wrath of goodell.
8. PHI. Hell with those guys.

9. SF. A great team, a fun team, but the franchise has 5 super bowls and I don't care to add to the group that have 6.
10. BAL. I love watching Lamar Jackson, but I wish ill upon John Harbaugh.

I’ll never root for the team that knocks the pats out so the titans can fuck themselves. I also fucking loathe Baltimore so fuck them. And fuck the fucking chiefs. I like deshaun and deandre a lot so I’m probably rooting for the Texans but also like Jimmy g and respect that he dates pornstars twice his age. I also feel bad for Kirk cousins being unable to win in prime time and think it’d be funny to see him win. So any of those three

Edit forgot niners have 5 so I don’t want them to get six. Go Texans and Vikings

Nothing against Rodgers personally but I’ve always rooted against him because I can’t stand how much ESPN and other media used to suck him off

SF - but they all ready have 5...
GB - too much Rodgers love
NO - Brees gets 2 will get a ton of media driven - is he the GOAT?? Better stats! 2 Sb!

I thought the Saints were the best team when this season began, so I'll stick with that. Titans winning it all would be spectacular.

i tend to think about this in terms of narratives and how they relate to the era and the pats dynasty. so the least offensive thing for me would be for some plucky team that i don't hate to get a fluky win and then probably slide back to mediocrity. candidates: vikings, titans, texans.

i wouldn't mind a SF win, i like jimmy G, but would rather keep the pats at the top of the heap in terms of total SB wins.

GB, NO and SEA all fall in the category of don't actively hate, but don't really want to see them get another ring for random subjective & narrative reasons. i think brees is lowkey fash and would prefer to keep him as far from brady as possible in the rings category. still resentful of the rodgers hype and think he's overrated. SEA, eh i guess i'm just used to hating them from a few super bowls back and find their fans irritating, i don't even really care that much if they win again. wilson is getting less annoying over time. whatever.

i'm torn about KC because i like and respect andy reid, feel like he should get a ring before it's all said and done, like mahomes, but hate the fanbase and they have some true dirtbags in the supporting cast.

i hate BAL so fucking much as a franchise, and hate harbaugh, but i love lamar jackson and can't even really find much to hate about this year's team beyond the laundry and the coach.

PHI, fuck those guys for sure, definitely don't want to see them luckbox their way into a second ring with this regime and have to deal with another shitty NFC east fanbase with an inflated opinion of itself for another decade.

bottom line, with PIT and DAL out, i won't be that mad about anyone except PHI. everyone else is fine, or only mildly annoying, or, in the case of KC and BAL, i could at least find a silver lining.

Too many Lukes, not enough Anakins in here. The hate is week.

Screw KC and their pretensions to our throne and their horrible penchant for drafting and retaining abusers.

Screw Baltimore and Harbaugh and murderer Ray Lewis.

49ers. Great second team to have over the years. I know they’d tie the Patriots for Super Bowls, but am I supposed to root against them every year until the Pats get a lead of 2? That could be a while. I really like Jimmy G. He even sounds like a Patriot still, always saying stuff like “we have a long way to go, haven’t won anything yet”, easily gives credit to all of his teammates and coaches. Nice smile, nice kid, good looking kid.

Packers. Rodgers went to Cal, saw him play there, and I’ve had a lot of ties to Cal over the years. One son graduated from there.

Tennessee because of Vrabel, no other reason.

NO. Respect for Brees.

I hope Baltimore gets knocked out but I think Harbaugh is an excellent coach.

in NFC, NO and GB. Hope Brees retires if he wins.
In AFC, Chiefs only. Mahomes is a classy leader.

Hate all the bird teams. Don’t want the 49ers to get 6 before we get 7. Houston and Tenn are feisty; and Vikings worthy of pity therefore OK.

Andy Reid and the Chiefs deserve one. I liked Mahomes and Watson that year so will root for them. My favorite guy in 2018 was Lamar Jackson. Would be cool to see him win 2019 MVP and SB MVP. I also like Vrabel. Tennessee took Harold Landry and AJ Brown two guys I liked as well. So for the AFC I’m fine with all of the remaining teams.

NFC I will always cheer for the Eagles. I like Wilson and the Seahawks, Brees is fun to cheer for and of course old friend Jimmy G. Aside from the Vikings and the Packers I’m good there too.

I just want to see some good football. From following the draft I have a handful of guys I liked on all of the remaining teams.

If I had to pick one it would be Lamar Jackson and the Ravens. Felt like I planted a flag there and I legitimately love watching him play. In the last 2 decades there has been one QB of color to win it all. I think only 2 in the last 4 decades. Would be nice if Lamar, who imho got black QB treatment, added to the list.

In order.

1. Tennessee - a lot of Patriots connections and I love a good underdog story. Will be cheering for them to slay some dragons.

2. Houston - once again, a lot of Patriots connections. Haven't won a championship ever. Wouldn't mind them.

3. San Francisco - Jimmy G. Seem like a likeable team.

4. Minnesota

5. Seattle

Dislikes:
6. Philadelphia
7. Green Bay
8. New Orleans
9. Kansas City
10. Baltimore - hell no.

I honestly do not care who wins. I am not an NFL fan any longer, just a Patriots fan. But, gun to my head, Ten or Hou in the AFC, Min in the NFC.

Niners and Jimmy in the NFC, Killer Mike Vrabel in the AFC. Pats roots die hard.
