What a gut f*cking punch. Pretty everyone shat the bed, including Brady's pick 6.

Gilmore got cooked against Parker, Good Fitz shower up at the worst time, and had too many mistakes including the defense giving up the winning five.

Unbelievable. This team really feels like the 2009 team, doesn't it?

When it's all said and done, a season with so much promise, but so many mistakes

Everyone except Elandon for that TD
If it weren’t BB, the coach should get canned for that shitshow

Belichick

He put the roster together, made the team about the defense, and then the defense couldn't get the job done against of Dolphins. Pathetic!

Coaching - the game plan sucked - they just got off a dominant win against Buffalo with power running and didn't continue with that

Coaching.
Gilmore.
Brady.

I don’t know why, when Gilmore kept getting burned by Parker, they didn’t double up Parker and put Gilmore on someone else. He just couldn’t hang with him and Fitzpatrick was putting everything on target. Got to switch something up and they just stuck with it.

Sanu was 3 for 5. Harry killed them with 3 on 7 targets.

Cannot believe they could not convert 3rd downs all half and beyond.

I still don't understand the complete failure to adjust to what MIA was doing.

Brady has to be on this list for the pick 6 alone.

Gilmore got outplayed by a receiver for the first time in what has to be a couple years.

Have to ding the coaching staff as well for relentlessly sticking with cover 1 and 0 blitzes despite Fitzpatrick burning them over and over again. In cut, slant, drag, etc.

Offense in general - what did the leading receiver have 3 catches today? Just an embarrassment. I really dislike McDaniels more than usual this year.

All they had to do was keep Fitzmagic out of the end zone and this would be a game ball thread. The defense was awful with Gilmore leading the way.

The entire season suddenly became a colossal failure. There’s no point to an elite defense if they peaked in October.

Most disappointing team since when they last had the 3 seed.

1. Brady, for throwing a Charmin soft pick-6 while under no pressure at all
2. Gilmore, for being owned all game long
3. The rest of the defense, for failing to impact the game when it mattered

This might be what the end looks like.

Yeah, that pick 6 got him on here for me today too, but he played well enough for the team to win.
No one on the defense should be excused for that last drive.

Entire team. Played like cowards yet again. Gone are the days of aggressive play to shit down the other teams throat.

No shot in the playoffs, they don’t have any heart.

I never ever thought that Gilmore and BB would be listed as reasons the Pats lost but it's true.
Ps. Why Sanu? I know you @Seels hope that Sanu and all his descendants rot in hell Seels, but I thought he played ok today. He had the big catch in the first half that was wiped out by the bogus PI on Watson and he also had a big catch on the final drive.

Things have been leaning this direction for playoff seeding for much of of the fall: Today’s outcomes are just. They are also interesting.

What is more likely — more slippage in the division, or amping back up. Honestly; have no idea.

Bill with a bullshit, "we would have taken a TO if we got a first down" at the end of the half answer. If you are trying to get a first down an off-tackle run probably not getting it done.

Sanu’s worst play was the brutal drop right before the pick 6

Agree, why didn't they put Gilmore on the #2 WR, and double the #1 as they've done for years?.

Hey BB did coach the team to 12 and 4. I know it feels like the sky is falling in, but about 28 other NFL team's fans would be dying to go 12 and 4. I am guilty as much as anyone here but let's get some perspective folks. Even in a quote DOWN year the team went 12 and 4. Don't act like Yankee fans.

Please!

Take that somewhere else.

These aren't the 1982 Patriots anymore.

This is a different franchise now......4-4 in the second half is a disaster.

Coaching: I don't understand the playcalling at the end of the first half. Also, the team seemed a bit underprepared for this game.

Gilmore: I guess he is human after all. He was straight up owned this game.

Harry: I'm really starting to question his heart and effort. He got manhandled on blocks a couple of times early, and I don't think the really fought for that deep ball at the end of the game. That's really frustrating considering the athleticism he showed on the non-TD. When he wants to fight for it, he does...

Also, the legend of Elandon Robert grows.

Worst regular season loss of the BB era, thanks to BB, coaching, Brady and Gilmore. Absolutely awful. No rest, no getting healthy. Such a gut punch I expect them to lose next week. And even if they win they have to go playin KC? NO. EFFING. SHOT.

edit: probably should cut more of my tantrum, but will leave this here.

If they came in today and lost by 14, it sucks but whatever. But for the second time this season they are given the ball with a lot of time left before half, with timeouts, and they go to the locker room.

It’s not losing. It’s not trying. They deserve to be booed.
