The most ridiculous thing is Garrett feels the need to take down the QB that already released the ball with seconds left in the game. I don't blame Rudolph for reacting the way he did, because the entire play was bullshit. Fuck Myles Garrett. If he shows less than total contrition, the guy can go fuck himself forever.

Even Vontaze Burfict has to be saying WTF???

Steve Smith just called for Garrett to get suspended for rest of season.

I mean, Rudolf’s skull must be adamantium. Garrett is strong as fuck and he hit him straight in the head with a full windup with a football helmet.

They sure do and it's a ridiculous and insane rule that needs to be changed. If not in a 5yd v 10yd penalty, then in this case.
Pouncey was kicking the guy on the ground. He earned his penalty and objection. Everyone understands why he did it, but you can’t do that. Making refs figure out which unsportsmanlike is worse is not feasible. It’s for the league.

Looked like Decastro got his arm in there to deflect it a little. Might have saved some serious injury.

Only the NFL and the AFC North make Maurkice Pouncey somewhat of a hero.

Also, does Garrett get credit for QBKD there?

Mayfield's quote

"It's inexcusable. I don't care - rivalry or not - we can't do that," Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield told sideline reporter Erin Andrews after the game. "That's kind of the history of what's been going on here lately - hurting yourself - and that's just endangering the other team. That's inexcusable. And (Myles Garrett) knows that - I hope he does now. It's tough. We'll see. ... The reality is he's gonna get suspended. We don't know how long, and that hurts our team. And we can't do that. We can't continue to hurt this team. That's inexcusable."

Just watching another replay and Ogujobi's cheap shot on Rudolph after Rudolph got hit with the helmet. He can have the rest of the season off too. He's almost as bad. Fuck that guy too.

Danoo is correct that Garrett instigated it by fully sacking the QB in 100% garbage time

it's unfortunate Rudolph retaliated but then it was just out of control

The NFL needs to start making helmets out of Rudolph's skull. They can both improve player safety and give him a chance to earn some compensation from getting 15 years worth of CTE in one play.

Interesting what a potential suspension could be like:

Albert Haynesworth got 5 games for stomping on a player in 2006, but he already had a sordid history even at that point.
Ndamukong Suh got 2 games for the same thing in 2011, and his sordid history wasn't much better.
Antonio Smith got only 1 game for ripping off Richie Incognito's helmet and swinging it at him in 2013. I'm sure there were extenuating circumstances given Incognito's own dirty history and racism, but still.
Dominic Raiola got 1 game for a stomp in 2014.
Suh ended up only getting a fine for another stomp on Rodgers in 2014.
IK Enemkapali got 4 games for punching teammate Geno Smith in 2015.
Gronk got 1 game for "intentionally falling on a player's neck" in 2017

So it looks like they'll spin the wheel of justice and see where it lands. It'll probably be some bullshit small amount. And if Ogujobi doesn't get a significant suspension too, that will be bullshit as well.

It’s going to be significant. It’s a clean head shot.

Scumbag move by a team owned by a scumbag.

In summary, what should happen (but won't):

Garrett suspended indefinitely, minimum of the rest of this season, including any playoffs.
Ogunjobi suspended 4 games for the cheap shot after Rudolph was hit in the head.
Pouncey suspended 2 games for punching and kicking Garrett, even if he deserved it.
Kitchens fired tomorrow

Why is the coach fired. He didn’t draft Garrett

I'd go stronger:
Garrett banned for life and loses NFL retirement benefits (other than mental care, if NFL has any)
Ogunjobi suspended for rest of season and playoffs
Pouncey, 2 games
Kitchens fired now

all the media is calling for at least the rest of the year. 6 games would do it plus a playoff stipulation if needed.

Because his team is completely undisciplined. Did you see some of the illegal hits his players gave out tonight and justifiably got flags for? Absolute fucking bullshit. This isn't an isolated incident.

These assholes on NFLN trying to justify Garrett's actions by saying Rudolph caused the whole situation? Fuck those guys too.

Edit: Mostly James Jones. Fuck that guy with a rusty sword.

for opinion's what?
You aren't familiar with his work I take it. Bad spelling, grammar and hair choices are part of his shtick. And he is right - sports Twitter is essentially eating its own right now with fans turning on fans, some pro players defending Garrett etc.

For example, there are lots of people, including some blue checkmarks, who are calling Mayfield out for not having Garrett's back, whatever that means.
