Baker Mayfield and his 1000 commercials come to town. Not that the Pats defense is a good matchup for anyone but Mayfield is throwing a lot of picks.

Pats opening as 12.5 point favorites.

If I’m Cleveland, I run Chubb like 30 times.

If I'm Cleveland, I don't show up for the game. Why get banged up and humiliated? Save your energy for games you might win.

The Jets had the 31st ranked O-line for pass protection, we saw how that played out. Cleveland has the 24th ranked...

FO has Cleveland's offense at 27th in the league, 30th in Passing, but a very good 4th in the league at Rushing. Baker Mayfield has taken a big step back from last year, and only Darnold and Josh Rosen have worse ratings. His TD% has dropped from 5.6% last year to 2.5%, and his interception % has skyrocketed from an already high 2.9% to 5.6% (highest in the league). Additionally he's getting sacked 7.5% of the time. Chubb is having a very good season averaging 5.3 yards/carry with 6 TDs to go with 20 receptions.

I'd have to think the Patriots will put the linebackers focus on giving nothing to Chubb, and forcing Baker to throw into the secondary. I can't imagine that'll work out well for them.

What the hell is a goat hair cleat?

OBJ is like the guy friend in HS trying every trick to get his popular female friend to notice him

In the watch world - OBJ wore a fake version of a $1.5 million watch during a game earlier in the season. He wants everyone to notice him.

Hilarious, is this like the dude equivalent of jewel-watching?

"He wore the Patek Phillippe, it's really a slam on Dorsett!"

"He's more the GOAT than I am."

You think Odell? You've had one great season and a total of zero playoff wins in your career. Yeah, I agree, I would definitely say he's more of a GOAT than you are.

This is his 25th season as an NFL head coach. Let's assume his team wins (at least) 6 of their remaining regular-season games and playoff games. Belichick would then have averaged 12.2 wins per season (including playoffs).

Also, fun Belichick fact: in New England, his winning percentage in the playoffs (.750, 30-10) is greater than his winning percentage in the regular season (.746). Though it'll be tied if they get to 12-0 this year. But how sick is that?

Brady, at 214-60 as a starter (.775), would need 5 straight playoff wins more for this to be true for him.

Crazy given the higher talent level which is encountered in the playoffs.

I really hope Don Shula lives to see BB take this record from him.
Exactly what I think when I see this list in its various forms... then I do the math and wonder if all the negative Shula comments over the years has made BB want to stick around long enough to bump his name off the top spot. I mean, BB can be competitive too, right? That's 3 more successful years after this one, right?

I figure 3-4 more years, depending on how things go. I doubt its BB's primary motivation (mainly I think he loves football and can't imagine doing anything else) but I can see it adding a little extra on top.

In those 40 games, the Patriots' opponents' combined winning percentage (at the time they played the Pats in those respective playoff games) was a very impressive .734 (509-184). That's basically averaging playing a 12-4 team every game.

So against teams averaging a record of 12-4 over the regular season, the Patriots have gone 30-10 (.750). That's just unbelievable.

Against teams that had won 13 or more games (counting playoffs) at the time they played the Pats (those teams were a combined 343-94, .785), NE was 19-6 (.760). Ridiculous.

And just for fun, they've faced 5 teams that had won 15 or more games when they played the Patriots. Those teams had a combined record of 77-12 (.865).

Here's the results...

2001 Rams (16-2) - W
2004 Steelers (16-1) - W
2004 Eagles (15-3) - W
2017 Eagles (15-3) - L
2018 Rams (15-3) - W

So 4-1 (.800) against teams who had won 15 or more games. None of them were home games for the Pats, by the way. 1 road game, 4 neutral site games.
