So did some google searches and found some of the following names.

Delanie Walker TE Titans:
He is under contract through 2020, and it clearly wouldn’t be easy for the Titans to cut him now, from a cap standpoint. The problem is, he’s 35 and he played just one game last year, after signing a contract extension. A lot depends on how the Titans feel about young tight ends Jonnu Smith and MyCole Pruitt. Their combined 2019 cap hit is $1.565 million, compared to $6.327 million for Walker if he sticks.

Chad Williams Wr Cardinals:
One of those should be 2017 third-round pick Chad Williams. While the Grambling State product has shown flashes, he's never developed into a consistent pass-catcher. Through two seasons, he has just 20 catches for 202 yards and a touchdown.

Jake Butt, TE Broncos:
The Denver Broncos used a fifth-round pick in the 2017 draft on former Michigan tight end Jake Butt. Even though he was coming off a torn ACL, Butt had the kind of upside NFL teams drool over.
Butt missed his rookie campaign and suffered another torn ACL after just three games in 2018.
Though Butt was cleared to practice, he's a long shot to make the 53-man roster. Denver used a first-round pick on Noah Fant in April and also has Jeff Heuerman and Troy Fumagalli at the position.

Jordan Thomas (or Jordan Akins) TE Texans
In 2018, the Houston Texans used a sixth-round pick on former Mississippi State tight end Jordan Thomas. They also used a third-round pick on UCF's Jordan Akins, and one of the two could be on the way out.

Jamil Demby OL (including C) Rams
Last year, the Los Angeles Rams used a sixth-round pick on Maine offensive lineman Jamil Demby. Then they cut him at the start of the regular season. They've since signed him off the Lions' practice squad and thrust him into the competition along the interior line—which has a large hole after the departure Rodger Saffold in free agency.

Dwayne Allen TE Miami
That leaves Dwayne Allen as the big question -- he hasn't shown much and hasn't stayed healthy. "I love Dwayne. I do. But Dwayne knows that I'm all about competition," coach Brian Flores said.

Feel Free to add more that you think are possible.

Thank you for starting this thread.

In a crushing blow to headline writers and 11-year-old boys, Jake Butt is undergoing another procedure on his knee today. At this point, I'm not sure he'll ever be a useful NFL player.

I posted this to Roster Projection because I was dumb and didn't see this thread:

Brandon Thorn threw out Nick Easton as a possibility after Andrews' condition came out. Easton signed a 4-year, $22.5 MM contract with the Saints this offseason, but New Orleans drafted Erik McCoy and Easton has been on kind of shaky ground this preseason. A deal works financially for both sides; the Saints would eat his $2 MM bonus but save his $2 MM guaranteed salary this year, while the Pats would take on his $2 MM in 2019 salary but have no guaranteed money after. Easton has started 17 NFL games at G and C so he'd give them some experience behind Karras.

EDIT: He also suggested Billy Price, Cincinnati's first-round pick in 2018 who had a disastrous rookie year and has just been relegated to the Bengals bench. Would be more of an upside play on a guy with talent (and a guy who played for BB's buddy Urban Meyer). I can't see the notoriously slow-moving Bengals giving up on Price so quickly though.

There is a 0% chance the titans cut Walker. He’s the center of the offense with Henry and Davis.

He is only top of mind because of Hard Knocks but those who are projecting the Raiders roster have Luke Wilson not making the team.

The biggest issue with a potential Wilson pick up is that he is not very good. He basically offers nothing as a pass catcher, he has had greater than 20 catches in just two of his 6 seasons. I can't find anything either positive or negative about his ability as a blocker. But I think it's a reasonable to assume that a TE who has carved out a 6 year NFL career while offering next to nothing as a receiving threat and is 6'5/250 is likely somewhere between adequate and good in the run game. If anyone has more accurate info on him being a subpar blocker then he pretty much makes zero sense for the Pats.

Bringing in Wilson would be uninspiring. However, while his ceiling is far from spectacular his floor is likely somewhere above 'Guy Who is Going to Shit His Pants When Real Games Start'. I suppose there is a scenario where Lacosse's injury is going to keep him out and they want a TE with more NFL experience than Izzo on the team to bridge the first four weeks before Watson returns. If they think they need a four week, experienced, veteran roster bridge/filler then I guess they could probably due worse than Wilson. Hard Knocks only shows snippets but he seems like a good locker room guy, so I guess that counts for something.

Pardon My Take had Willson on their most recent episode and they even speculated that, if cut, he might be a good fit positionally for the Patriots but not culturally. Its clearly not definitive but if a Barstool podcast thinks a player wouldn't be a good match for the way a team operates, they may be on to something.

Edit: I never want to be on the wrong side of SN in this forum.

Chokes under pressure, can't deal with off-field distractions, pass:

(The TE spells it "Willson" FYI ... unless you want me to keep making this joke)

Alrighty, combine all that with him not actually being a good player and it looks like a hard no to Willson.
Given the Seattle TE situation and the fact that they gave up on him should tell you something.

Jimmy Graham made him look like a competent blocker, but Jimmy Graham makes me look like a competent blocker.

Bedard notes two d-linemen (Fadol Brown and Tyler Lancaster) with the Packers who could get interest from the Pats if they are cut loose. Makes sense if they want someone behind Shelton.
