The coverage does suck. We had the trade here — from ESPN source — when they were still saying Phi picking for Bos at 24 at least 2 or 3 times.

Timelord is going to look like Taco Fall in the team photo next season

I suppose that's the best offer Ainge got for kicking a first-rounder back a year, and avoiding more than two rookie additions to the roster. Milwaukee might end up losing Middleton and having a middling year, I suppose, but it assigns no discount to future values.
Yeah, God forbid he adds three guys to a roster that currently has like 5.

AH so Baynes as well. Makes sense, kicks back the pick he doesn't want to make into a first next year and clears about 6M in cap.

The Suns dumping a 25 year old on a 3 year deal to clear cap so that they could use that cap space mostly on a veteran center in the last year of his deal is.... special.

Dumping Baynes and one of the first round picks clears some additional cap space, but what’s the plan on how to use it?

So, it's the 24th pick this year for the Bucks pick in 2020? I like that trade for the Celtics. I know the Bucks are likely to be higher than 24, but in a hopefully stronger draft.

If this ends up with Kemba or Russell in Boston Danny is a genius.

Anything less feels like a complete disaster.

Kemba is my hope. But likely we're cruising for disappointment.

No one would just take Baynes for a future second? He had to be stapled to this 1st round pick? They could have made two deals, no?
