Shouldn't they call it Premier League Saturday?

Of course, all games simultaneous at 10:00 Eastern:

Brighton-Man City
Burnley-Arsenal
Crystal Palace-Bournemouth
Fulham-Newcastle
Leicester-Chelsea
Liverpool-Wolves
ManU-Cardiff
Southampton-Huddersfield
Spurs-Everton
Watford-West Ham

You all know the storylines.

Sandwiched around these games: the Championship playoffs.

7:25 am: Aston Villa-West Brom

12:10 pm: Derby-Leeds

About to grab a coffee and watch the first game. Lacking a rooting interest, I'll go by kits. I like Villa's well enough, but that color scheme is already overrepresented in the PL with Burnley and West Ham. I like the shade of blue in West Brom's kits so up the Baggies.

Edit: I am a complete moron and I thought the PL games were today.

West Brom in full time wasting mode in the 60th minute.

I’d get Gayle off the pitch, he’s on a yellow and acting like an idiot

Great goal by Villa. Hourihane with a bomb from 20m out. Real nice play by Grealish to draw 2 guys into the box and open up that spot up top.

Edit: and now a PK for Villa!

Abraham scores. What a turn in the last 5 minutes!

Little bit ugly, huh?

I forget- are you a Derby fan?
I am. I’d still consider myself a “low information” fan from a technical standpoint, but I’m watching or a lot of times listening to the radio feed on a weekly basis.

Hoping this is the year they can make their way up. At least they seem to be in form as the playoffs start.

I had started that thread a few years ago about who people supported, but it’s long down the chain at this point. I knew that, like me, you supported a shit club.

Good luck today!

Prophecy. 100% plain as day this was coming. Second yellow at 87’. Now out for return leg. Moron.

West Brom epic collapse here.

Yes, I’ve become accustomed to the disappointment they can bring. The January slide down the table is quite the tradition.

Pulisic with the start against Dusseldorf. Already created a nice opportunity with some smart movement and a quick shot. Game on FS1 (for those of us who don’t get the Chamionship matches).

4 point gap with 2 to go, right?

Yep.

Dusseldorf doing a lot of pinging around the midfield and back, created in real chance so far thy was fractionally offside. Pulisic has a rebound fall to him, but a great sliding block from a defender stopped the shot.

Dortmund coming on a bit more now.

Beauty cross great layoff and Pulisic score
Dortmund wins & Bayern draws, cuts the lead to 2 points.

Edit: Bayern is +17 in goal differential over Dortmund, so a draw next week keeps the trophy in Munich.

Pep playing Mahrez just to invite more pressure. Just a horrible feeling I’m going to be in the wrong side of an Agueroooooooo moment

It's been a while...

I approach the next two hours more in hope than expectation but if things go our way, remind me to tell you a little story from earlier today... #allezallezallez #LFC

Brighton look up for this. They are not rolling over, at least in the early stages. And City look a little disjointed so far.
