Not sure how I've never seen this before. It is magnificent...the guy who gets hit with the pizza looks just like a guy I coached little league with.

Just watched that on YouTube with my buddy a week or 2 ago. We were rolling, I remember watching that happen live. I miss Remy and Orsillo

Remy and Orsillo coming back from commercials unable to string a few words together without cracking up is one of my favorite things ever.

The way Don just manages to squeak out 'have some pizza' around the 2:10 mark might be my favorite part of the whole thing. He just can't keep it together.

"Honey I'm going to the ballgame today and if I see some guy I'm gonna throw a piece of pizzer at him."
I love this clip, and I passed it on to my kids about six months ago. May it live forever.

It’s been a while since I lived in New England. The “piece-a-pizzer” stuck out for me, too. I remember calling it that as a kid, but now it’s always a slice.

Piece O’ Pizza on Main st in Waltham. 25 cents for a slice and a coke. Of course that was about 50 years ago. And it was damn good.

Orsillo giggling uncontrollably out of the break is just pure joy. I agree with some others here, "Announced Guy" is sorely missed.

That clip never gets old. The title says "Entire Affair", but it's not. There used to be a 4:32 clip, which is an additional 1:08 longer than this one.
Looking back on my blog to 2007, I noted there were 23 versions of this clip posted.

NESN came back from that half-inning break and they were still talking about it. At the actual end of the segment, the pizza was shown just laying on the railing:
Remy: "I'll tell you what, I'd eat that thing. It looks pretty good."

Orsillo: "Not bad, little bit of cheese... I've eaten worse."
Don was also giggling so much that he was unable to remember the name of the NESN show he hosted (Red Sox Report).

In 2013, Jenny Dell interviewed The Pizza Tosser.

NESN inadvertently shows a boob grab before the start of an inning.

Remy sees it and says "Oops." ... And then there is 27 seconds of silence before Don squeaks out a few words ... followed by an additional 20 seconds of dead air.

Orsillo recovered rather well considering you know Remy was giggling his ass off next to him. He managed to call a couple pitches before Remy chimed in with the comment about throwing it down to Heidi which sent Orsillo off again.

Doesn't sound like silence to me - sounds like they covered up / walked away from their microphones until they needed to make a call or say something, and were laughing in the background the whole time.
