Holy shit, what an amazing job John Dorsey has done building the Browns roster.

The heat is going to be on Kitchens, methinks - either he's going to prove himself to be an adequate-to-good head coach and at least make the playoffs, or he might be one-and-done, with every other potential head coach salivating at the job going into 2020.

I think the Browns may now be my second-favorite team to root for, by the way. Few fans can deserve the joy they're likely to experience over the next few seasons more than theirs.

Last year was the first in a long time where seeing the Browns play wasn't immediately disappointing for me. 3rd favorite in the AFC...woof, I would be completely on cloud nine with a playoff berth.

During the season I kept razzing my buddy, who is a big Steelers fan, that the Browns had the best QB in the AFC North. This years texts may change that to team. =)

I don’t know. They’re still the Browns. But seriously, it shows you can build an impressive roster with 2,436 quality draft picks.

Okay, enough. If they can’t make his work, it wasn’t meant to be.

The Browns had a pretty good season last year once Baker got in the lineup and Hue was jettisoned. The team is very good. It's not still the Browns. They are going to compete.

Makes me think of Millar talking about the Red Sox drought. That had nothing to do with the guys that were on the team in the present.

There is no one they were drafting in the first round that touches OBJ. He also gives them a legit field stretcher, which should allow Landry to do what he does best, working underneath and chewing up YAC. I also think people forget how good OBJ is with a QB that can throw it down the field further than 10 yards.

The Browns window is also officially open. The Baker Show is in town and cheap for the next 4 seasons before he has to get paid. The clock starts this season and Dorsey wasted zero time, getting OBJ and Olivier Vernon. You tear it down and rebuild in 4 years, but until then, you’re all in.

As a guy, I thought John Dorsey was pretty unimpressive on Hard Knocks, but his revamping of the roster shows what he did in KC was not a fluke. His acumen with regards to hiring coaches looks iffy at best.

With all these deals the last few days I completely forgot that they signed Kareem Hunt as well.

With how loaded the Browns are on offense, they should probably trade their punter. It's not like they're going to use him much this season.

Man, Landry and OBJ is an incredible combo, I think they complement each other well. Perhaps not Welker - Moss, but wow, we’d all be losing our minds if Brady was throwing to that combo.

They’ve been quietly building a ton of talent. They needed a coach. Hue wasn’t that guy. Maybe they found the right one now.

I’m still kind of shocked they chopped Collins, if only for cap hit and probably a scheme change coming, but I can see it.

I’m rooting for them. If anyone wins except us, I hope it’s them. The fans deserve it.

JT O'Sullivan has some comments to make about the struggles Baker Mayfield may have with OBJ. We'll see.

It is mystifying to me that the Browns want to give away NFL players in all their trades. They've made headlines this offseason, but depth matters too. That Vernon / Zeitler deal could look awful. I'm fading them pretty hard.

They still might make the playoffs!

Six of their remaining games involve Pitt, Cinn, Miami and Arizona. It can happen! That is a gloriously putrid run of teams. If they can get a win vs. Denver, they might just pull off a wild card spot. Their other two games -- Buff and Balt -- are both at home. They've already beat Baltimore once. There's a chance.
