16 games left for the Celtics, 17 for Ind and Philly.
It looks like the #1 seed in the East will be the Bucks, #2 will be Toronto, 3-5 are a tight race between Bos/Ind/Phi and 6-8 are a tight race between Det/Bkn/Mia/Orl.
With that in mind, where is the ideal slot for the Celtics to end up? Given everyone would pick #4 over #5, I added in the opponent to see if that mattered. I'd assume most would rather play Indiana over Philly in the first round.
The team I fear the most in the East is Toronto. So my dream scenario would be to end up 4th with Philly 3rd and Ind 5th. Given that's not a choice, I'll pick #5 vs. Ind. I would take a path to the finals of Ind -> Mil -> Phil/Tor over BKN->Tor->Mil.
