When he's playing it looks great but I get sad seeing Luke Keuchly with a blank stare on the sideline. Body language and all, but I worry about that guy having a sound mind more than a few years after retirement.

Nice finish by Cam...pose after first down letting clock tick instead of taking a timeout and then a horrible pick in the end zone. Not exactly mensa material but he has nice hats.

And these "special performances"---I mean, aren't they just prerecorded videos? What's the big damn deal?

I feel like Kamara hasn’t had many explosive plays this year.

Just looked it up and he has 0 runs over 20 yards and 1 catch.

When the Saints win this one, and basically lock up home field advantage, Drew Brees should throw a party for his defense. Only way that dude has a chance at another Super Bowl is if they have home field advantage, and the Super Bowl is played in a dome, and well, what do you know....

He's 1-6 in the playoffs on the road, and 6-0 at home. The dude can't play outside where football is meant to be played.

The Saints offense is getting its ass kicked for the second time in three weeks.
They weren't exactly great last week against a terrible Bucs defense either. They didn't even reach 300 yards of total offense. And they were dreadful against the Cowboys the week before, like you said.

I'll give everyone a hint on why all of a sudden, they look mortal? Their last 3 games, including tonight, have all been on the road. They'll right the ship the next two weeks when they head back to their indoor track and play against the Steelers and Panthers again to finish the season.

Passer rating drops to 91.4 if he's outdoors. That would be 24th in the NFL this season.
Yup, and it's 104.2 when he's playing indoors. The thing is, he plays in a division with Atlanta, who is also in a dome, so they play at least 9 games every season indoors. Then they have 2 more against Carolina and Tampa Bay on the road, which isn't usually bad weather or anything.

Their only really good showing on the road this year was a 24-23 win against Baltimore (not exactly the 40-50 points they put up at home though). They crushed an awful Cinci defense, an awful Atlanta defense, an awful Giants team and they beat the Vikings (in yet another dome) 30-20.

This stretch against Dallas, Carolina, Pitt and Carolina in 5 weeks is probably the hardest stretch of their season, but even 2 of those games are at home. I mean, people forget the Browns should have beaten them in Week 2.

It’s just a rough patch. They had the following scores on the road in their first 5 road games

43
33
24
30
51

43:

43 against the Falcons, 24th in total defense, also in a dome
33 against the Giants, 21st in total defense
24 against the Ravens, 1st in total defense (like I said, their most impressive win, by a point)
30 against the Vikings, 4th in total defense, but the game is in a dome, Brees can play in a dome anywhere
51 against the Bengals, last in total defense
10 against the Cowboys, 5th in total defense
28 against the Bucs, 28th in total defense
6 so far tonight against the Panthers, 8th in total defense

That's their 8 road games this year. Brees has no problems when he's in a dome, but put him outdoors against a good defense, and he's got issues. They put up historic numbers indoors, or when they play awful defenses, but when they get into games like the Dallas game, or this one tonight, he struggles. He always has. He's 2-8 lifetime against Denver, he was 0-4 lifetime against the Ravens before the win this year, etc.

They'll pull this game out, and lock up home field, and none of this will matter anyway. But, I do not believe Drew Brees will ever win anything unless he's got home field advantage. He hasn't done it yet in his career.

Not disputing the home/road split. It’s real but their offense just looks out of sorts lately. Won’t matter since they’ll be playing indoors rest of the way.

Yep. Is Brees all of a sudden in decline too?
He's over the cliff. I'm just waiting for someone to tell me that Brady's pick yesterday was worse than that one. At least Brady was just trying to throw it away and the defender made a ludicrous play on the ball. Brees just threw it to the wrong guy. Maybe Brees' eyes are going in his old age.

I think the narrative is that only Brady is in decline.
I made the mistake of listening to some talking heads defend Rodgers even though he is clearly having an off year by his standards. The same talking heads have already buried Brady.
Again that is my mistake for even watching/reading.
