Like this post so much.I'm not a 'Bama fan by any means, but I'm so fucking happy for that kid. He deserves every second of this.
100% Yes.Jalen Hurts ladies and gentleman. What a fucking story. That's the shit that makes college football great.
Can’t believe we’re getting OU again. This sucks. Big 12 football is such garbage. So OU... unless OSU wins by like 30?
I'd rather see it than bama UGA for the tenth time. Can’t believe we’re getting OU again. This sucks. Big 12 football is such garbage.
I think Ohio State would need to win by 50. Losing to Purdue by 29 looks awful while OU avenged their only loss today. So OU... unless OSU wins by like 30?
I don't think even that's enoughSo OU... unless OSU wins by like 30?
So, you like watching non-competitive football games?I'd rather see it than bama UGA for the tenth time.
Alabama and Georgia have only played each other four times since 2008. And frankly, I'd rather see Bama play a team I think can conceivably beat them in the semifinals, even while acknowledging that UGA has no right to be in the playoff at this point. But whatever.I'd rather see it than bama UGA for the tenth time.
Oklahoma? The Oklahoma Sooners? You think they have a better chance than Georgia, or Clemson? Alabama might score 100 on them, without breaking a sweat.I despise ou sucks with every fiber of my being but they have the best shot at beating Alabama out of any possible opponent imo.
Clemson - ND might be sneaky good.
Nope.Maybe Pitt can make this even more interesting.
They almost beat Georgia last year. I like seeing non conference! The debate all year is always how these big 12 offenses would fare in the SEC and vice versa and if the pace of the big 10 holds up etc etc. I want to see it in the playoffs. The SEC has their own championship to determine who the best isSo, you like watching non-competitive football games?
He also said UM and OSU were the best teams in the nation back in 2006 and needed a rematch in the championship.Kirk Herbstreit says UGA should actually be moved up to 3rd after that game. I said it last week. Win or lose there is an argument that both SEC championship game teams deserve to be in the CFP. I don't see much difference between Georgia, Oklahoma, and Ohio State. UGA played the tougher schedule.
Yeah that wasn't one of his greatest hot takes. But don't you see an avenue where Georgia can still be considered as the 4th team?He also said UM and OSU were the best teams in the nation back in 2006 and needed a rematch in the championship.
I think it's set with OU as the 4th team. It will be interesting to see some of the early SEC bowl games and see how UF and UK perform to get an idea on the strength of the West.Yeah that wasn't one of his greatest hot takes. But don't you see an avenue where Georgia can still be considered as the 4th team?
Close as hell, but I think it was the right call, biased as I may be.Huge call for the Wildcats on the three.
This is where I'm at. If they're interested in taking the 4 best teams I still think Georgia is one of them. Do I think the committee will see it this way? No I don't.If we’re talking about best teams and not how the committee is going to rank them. I slot them based on who IMO would be favored if they were playing other teams, here’s how I’d rank it.
Tier 1: Bama
Tier 2: Clemson and Georgia
Tier 3: ND, OU, OSU, UCF
This is what I think would happen if these teams played a team up or down a tier. For instance a Clemson v Georgia game would be a pick em and they’d be favored against everyone but Bama.
They are doing an excellent job of convincing the Committee they have no business sniffing the playoffsThis is not the convincing performance Ohio St needs.
They are very young, next year should be interesting. This OSU team reminds me of the 98 team. Incredibly talented, but lacks the focus to maintain 60 minutes
They're going to need a QB, no?They are very young, next year should be interesting.
This is true, regardless of how this game ends. They are doing an excellent job of convincing the Committee they have no business sniffing the playoffs
