The over/under for Bills/Jets is 36.5. That is a low number in the current high scoring NFL.
After a little Googling seems like 27 is the lowest over/under number ever I could find.

by contrast, tonight's game might be the best Thursday Night matchup of the season, leaving aside the fact that all thursday games inherently suck more than weekend games because of how the short rest affects performance.

It's crazy that Julius Peppers is still playing, and at a decently high level. For reference, he was picked right in between David Carr and Joey Harrington. The same draft as Clinton Portis, Ed Reed, and Brian Westbrook. That was a long time ago.

And he's earned about $156.8M / overthecap

isn't mccaffery 75% of the panthers offense?? how is he not doubled?

as long as tomlin coaches them, I will never fear the steelers.

Cam might be the only QB that doesn't get a roughing call there. Watt clearly ducked his head and led with the crown of his helmet.

Wow, Cam almost threw the worst interception you'll ever see given the circumstances. He's so lucky Edmunds dropped that. The Steelers may end up scoring again before the half anyway, but he would have been handing them a 38-14 lead going into the break.

I think this is a “ball didn’t actually really move” situation, though it looked weird. Sort of the football version of a snowcone catch.

That is a ridiculous ruling---the ball was never NOT moving. There is absolutely no way that is a catch by the current standards

C'mon. That's just idiotic. You can't say "not enough evidence to overturn the call," when you have a 100% perfect frame-by-frame shot of the catch.

It's either a catch OR not a catch - by the rules. It's absolutely not a situation where the replay officials can cop out.

I think what Pereira was trying to say is that the replay officials try to make a quick decision on whether there's likely to be enough (and to justify stopping play and the delay) and here thought no initailly---and then the XP happens and it's over.

That's a guess, but that would be consistent with how he usually talks about it because he's never afraid to just say 'that's a bad call'
