California. Duh.
He's safe by a lot unless the foot completely missed the base. But is there a definitive angle where he hits the bag?

EDIT: Apparently there wasn't.

The high shot from the front looks like his foot was in there but the one from behind looks like it kicked up over top of the base on his slide. Rough call but my first instinct was out so hard for me to be too critical.

dude's knee is buckling before the ball is in the glove. Col got hosed.

Even if he comes off the bag, after beating the ball, doesn't the force go away because he could be considered attempting 3rd? ie he achieved the bag so now he needs to be tagged?

Eh, I think that was the right call - on the second angle his lead foot was pretty clearly raised and not touching the bag when the ball hit the glove.

Wow on that GIDP last inning. It’s almost like MLB has an interest in a Chicago team being in the playoffs along with NYC, LA, and Houston.

Not a good pitch on 0-2. Gotta bounce that shit against a free swinger like Baez.

Pull your best reliever after the two guys most likely to get a hit off him are already gone. What a league.
