I think I must have PBSD because every Golden State shot that goes in all I can hear is BANG BANG BANG.

Rockets would still likely be up with reasonable 3rd quarter ref'ing, which is insane.

D’Antoni basketball
His team played incredibly tough, adjusted when shots didn't fall to attack, and got royally screwed by the refs. I didn't like their overly slow isoball early in the series, but I thought D'Antoni outcoached Kerr pretty badly in the series.

This is not the 2017 Warriors. Too inconsistent. Needed hero ball from Klay in Game 6 and Steph/Durant tonight to overcome slow starts. Who knows which version shows up in th finals.

Home teams from three in Game 7 - Boston 7-39, 17.9%. Houston 7-44, 15.9%. Enjoy your summer of regret.

This is probably better for the Celtics.

The Warriors will be even less motivated with weaker legs next year. Lebron is more likely to leave Cleveland after he gets destroyed in the finals. If he goes to Houston then those teams kill each other in the conference finals and we waltz in fresh as a daisy after sweeping Toronto or Washington.

If Iggy is healthy, GS would win by 40 every game, covering Lebron 40% Iggy, 20% Durant, 20% Thompson, 20% Green. If Iggy is out, probably should see Thompson 40% (when Cavs go big with Love and TT), Green 30% (when Cavs go small), Durant 30%(when Love is out).

I think the Warriors have shown vulnerability and allowed Houston to open big leads on them due to their lethargic play. However, I wouldn’t call Durant or Curry going for 30 hero ball; those guys can get that any night of the week.

Trying to get over Sunday night, but still have bad memories from 09, 10, and 12 too.

Game 7 losses sting.

This is why I’m (mostly) over last night. Celtics are better positioned than anyone else to take on this juggernaut. The Rockets now have to rely on a 34 year-old CP3 next spring and we know how that’ll go. Nobody is taking that Anderson contract off their hands and Capela is due a max contract soon. Their window hasn’t closed but it’s definitely shrinking.

Meanwhile, the Celtics have 2 young studs and a couple potentially valuable draft picks in their arsenal. Danny did the hard work last summer.
Capela is not getting a max contract.

I think it’s possible someone overpays but even if he falls short, the same point remains. The Rockets won’t have much of an ability to maneuver.
Yeah, I think he'll get a ~$20MM offer from someone; dude is good, and doesn't get played off the floor in a smallball series.
