Luongo looks like a Yankee. It's a great reason to hate him some more.

I'm glad everyone here saw the same thing I did...

with that said, they are up 1-0 and they're obviously going to let them play. That only benefits the B's.

As long as they call it both ways and Chara's not hurt, I'm ok with it.

Solid period, need more offensive zone pressure and need Thomas to be Thomas.

It's going to be like Game 7 versus TB (a few of the same refs to I believe) swallowing the whistles and I am fine with this.
As much as we have shut down the Nucks PP they are due.

I really hate this Canucks team. Win.The.Game. Celebrate on the home ice of the cheap shot artists, skate jumping blind siders, and finger biters. Fuck them.

It has to be innocent if he left his feet, threw an elbow, and went for Chara's head. This team has too much gentlemanly dignity for a dirty play.

I'm okay with the no call I don't want them to make a call now and feel like they have to play makeup later. I think Higgins saw Chara at the last second and was more trying to jump out of his way than anything. It doesn't make any sense that he would try to take him out and hurt his team.

The Canucks seemed visibly slowed by the Bergeron goal. Keep the pressure on and get the next one.

My iPod and phone alarms both failed, so I only caught the last minute of the period. How do they look so far, besides having the lead?

Now that I can breathe a little I am really liking the look of this Seidenberg jersey. Think Im pulling the trigger on this bad daddy.

I have to believe Luongo has one more softie in him. If the Bruins get this to 2-0 I will feel very good about things.
I believe Luongo has about 5 more softies in him. He's fucking terrified.

A little skittish in the first 5-10 minutes, D-men were having a lot of trouble making clean passes out of the zone. Thomas was rock solid. Bruins were more in control for the 2nd half of the period. Canucks are pinching like crazy in the offensive end so there will be opportunities for the B's when they figure it out.

Playing with sufficient jump...withstood the expected "we're home now" onslaught from VAN...B's getting in front on Luongo with greater regularity than I've seen in this barn...Thornton line doing good work, as well...
