Who was it that said we shouldn’t overreact when it was 2-1 Astros series lead and a 0-0 score in Game 4?

That person needs to be flogged.

Torres might be better than them all. He will be up next year. They have money to throw at SP. It’s like a runaway train. Too bad it’s not like a flight on autopilot.
.
Maybe I'm skewed (as a Sox fan always is), but I don´r see Hill, Arrieta or Darvish at Sale's or Price's level

Do the White Sox get a share of the trophy considering how they just gave the MFY three key pieces to the puzzle? It’s like Gabe Paul giving Steinbrenner Chambliss and Nettles. Fuck you Gabe Paul you prick.

What? They should be cheered for pissing down their leg and choking away a series lead?

The Astros offense this series is Red Sox level bad.

For fucks Sake. Cubs fans are booing their team.
It's well established that Cubs fans are fucking idiots.

Houston fans will obviously support their team big time on Friday.

Indians GM Phil Seghi gave Gabe Paul both Nettles and Chambliss, so add him to your list.

Yep I don´t get it, almost always the Sox are abused on trades, while the MFY are the abusers; umps always favor them and networks (because of rating, in an era were rating is so diluted), always want the yanks. The same happens with the Cowboys, I'm fed up and want to vomit everytime I hear Buck and Aikman tell us how good the Cowboys are. And by the way, Jerry Jones is the most despicable person, way worse than any other owner as has been demonstrated lately.

Good Christ the media is about to shove this Yankee team down our throats until we gag. What we’ve experienced with Judge this summer will be tiddlywinks compared to what’s about to happen.

Gack.

the dodgers will crush either team. Kershaw will dominate, Bellinger, Puig, and Seager will go crazy in the WS. Fuck the Yankees, they arent this good

Headley can go fuck off. another nobody who manages to be a pain at the worst times.

I think the best thing for the Astros is they get a day off tomorrow.

Credit to Cashman and their scouting too. They recognized the problem trying to outspend and the addressed it.
This past winter they gave Chapman the largest contract for a closer in history. They still have a bloated payroll with underperforming vets (Ellsbury) they just got super lucky their young talent developed overnight.

Ells is their last Albatross. He seems to be their line in the sand. They handled Chapman well. They traded him for assets then got him rightback, recognizing that bullpen is where you spend when you have a 90 win team.

Cashmam was on Mad Dog yesterday and said his contract and half the organizations are up at the end of the year, Maybe Jeter and Miami will continue to sign away key scouts and front office personnel. Derail this impending dynasty.

Here's another wonderful GM who helped that 70's squad: Pirate GM Joe L. Brown. Doc Medich for Doc Ellis, Willie Randolph and Ken Brett.

This is a resourceful, tough minded team. Beating Cleveland then Houston after falling into 0-2 holes would be a jarring accomplishment.

In hindsight, it's a bit surprising they didn't hunt us down for the AL East title. Fister's late season win in the Toilet was the key game. We're it not for that, they might have caught us.

Of course, that is a minor prize compared to a WS appearance.

Ultimately, this may be good for the RS. The bar is now pretty high. They have to try to reach it.
