Montreal coach did her team no favors running her top lines out for insane minutes. Boston coach kept her lines (still a bit out of whack) more balanced.

Seemingly straightforward solution: @ThePHWA assigns a pool reporter to speak to officials postgame. No reason the NHL can't follow other leagues and allow it.
Is this constant BS good for the game? Good for ratings? Who benefits?
Or does it just make the NHL look sloppy?


Game 3 Tuesday at 7. Just saying.

Boston were pretty badly outplayed for the first 40 to 50 minutes, but after that point, some combination of raising their level and Montreal tiring led to play flipping the other way around. Boston finally starting getting behind Montreal with speed and driving play. They can thank Frankel for keeping the game within reach, she was outstanding (though not ultimately one of the three stars).
