Red Sox and Wilmington (NC)
The Red Sox started affiliating with minor league teams in 1932, and one of the two teams the Sox affiliated with that season was in Wilmington, NC. The affiliation would last for only one season, as the Sox reduced their affiliates to only one in 1933. The Sox would return to the Piedmont League in 1934 with the Columbia Sandlappers.
