A statistic invented and popularised by Baseball Prospectus, this acronym stands for Wins Above Replacement Player, level 1.

It represents the value of a single player, by calculating the number of wins he contributed to the team over and above what a replacement level hitter, fielder, and pitcher would have done, with adjustments only for within the season. It's a stat used on PECOTA's main spreadsheet.
