Overall Career
Vincent Leo Molyneaux was born on August 17, 1888, in Lewiston, NY. Molyneaux was 28 years old when he broke into the big leagues on July 5, 1917, with the St. Louis Browns.
Molyneaux had a two-year major league career, finishing with a 1-0 record, and a 4.41 ERA in 32.2 innings.
Molyneaux was a member of the 1918 Red Sox for about two months. He threw a good spitball, and was used as a second-string pitcher out of the bullpen, mopping up in blow-outs or when the rest of the staff was overworked.
