United League Baseball
From SoSH
The United League was an attempt to start a new professional major league during the Major League Baseball strike in 1994. It never got off ground.
The effort was head by Bob Mrazek, a former five-time Congressman from Long Island. Curt Flood, was also involved as a member of the management company.
The league had hoped to have teams in Nassau or Suffolk County on Long Island, San Bernardino, Washington, Orlando or Jacksonville, Vancouver, British Columbia, and Mexico City or Monterrey, Mexico.
