After being drafted by Seattle in 2001, Bausher missed the entire 2002 season. In 2003 he signed with Berkshire of the independent Northeast League before quickly being signed by the Milwaukee Brewers. He was claimed by the Red Sox and assigned to Pawtucket for his first taste of AAA. He was called up to Boston on April 29th, 2005 during a series at Texas but did not appear in the game before being sent back down the very next day.

Scouting Report

SoxProspects Scouting Report
Bausher has been both a starter and reliever. Has been clocked in the high 90s on the radar gun. He has an excellent slider. Has had significant injury problems in the past. Apparently Bausher is a world class hackey sack player as well.
