I think this article could be enhanced with some discussion of the role Tampa Bay played as potential trade partners for a Lugo for Marte swap but for a butthead Tampa GM, as well as his sour grapes remark on an undisclosed Marte injury. I suppose that much of this discussion is hearsay, but it would add some flavor of the Andy Marte trade discussion.
