Overall Career
Born Wilfred Charles Siebert, Sonny was drafted by both the Cleveland Indians and the NBA's St. Louis Hawks. Siebert began his professional baseball career playing the outfield for the first two seasons before taking the mound in 1960.
Siebert's complete career consisted of 2153 IP with a record of 140-114 and an ERA of 3.21

Siebert's Moments in the Sun
- Threw a no-hitter against the Washington Senators on June 10, 1966. Sibert tied a major league record that same year by winning 10 straight games since Opening Day.
- On September 2, 1971, Siebert pitches a shutout against the Baltimore Orioles and helps his own cause by hitting two homeruns. He was the last American Legue pitcher to accomplish that feat.
