Scott Robert Cassidy (born October 3, 1975 in Syracuse, New York) is a right-handed reliever for the San Diego Padres. He made one appearance for the Red Sox in 2005. Was traded to the Padres for Adam Hyzdu.

Trivia
- In his three-year career at LeMoyne College, Cassidy compiled a 14-12 record with a 3.44 ERA. He left as the program's all-time leader with 18 complete games (in just 29 starts).
- Left off the Padres post-season roster in 2006 despite finishing the season with a 6-4 record and a 2.53 ERA in 42 appearances. His six wins were second best among Padres relievers.
