Overall Career
Rafael Corrales Palmeiro (born September 24, 1964 in Havana, Cuba) would have been known as one of the best overall hitters in baseball history and Hall of Fame lock if not for testing positive for steroid use. The positive test came a mere five months after his famous proclaimation, "I have never used steroids. Period." while pointing his finger crossly at members of the United States Congress. He used steroids. Period.
