Overall Career
Nathaniel Milton Gaston was born on January 27, 1896, in Ridgefield Park, NJ. Gaston was 28 years old when he broke into the big leagues on April 20, 1924, with the New York Yankees. Gaston had an 11-year career as a right handed pitcher. He finished with a record of 97-164 with 615 Ks and 4.55 ERA in 2,105 innings.
A winner only in his first two seasons, Gaston led the league in losses with 18 for the Browns in 1926, and 20 with the Red Sox in 1930. Milt's brother, Alex, was a ML catcher.
