Matthew Alan Perisho (born June 8, 1975 in Burlington, Iowa) is a lefty reliever that appeared in one game for the Red Sox in 2005.

Overall Career
Drafted by the California Angels in the third round of the 1993 amateur draft, Perisho has also played for the Angels (1997), Texas Rangers (1998-2000), Detroit Tigers (2001-2002) and Florida Marlins (2004-2005).
His most productive season came in 2004 for the Marlins, when he made a team and career-high 66 appearances and posted a 5-3 record with 10 holds in 47.0 innings, and held left-handed hitters to a .207 batting average (18-for-87).

Moment in the Sun
- Faced one batter with the Red Sox, surrendering a double to Brian Roberts. Roberts eventually scored, giving Perisho the wonderful "infinite" ERA.
