Martin Joesph McManus took command (as PLAYER and MANAGER) of the 1932 and 1933 Red Sox squads. Posting a 95-153 record (.383 WP), he was replaced the following season by Hall of Famer Bucky Harris and played his last season as a memeber of the Boston Braves. Marty died February 18, 1966 in St.Louis, MO.
