Overall Career
Charles "Charlie" Dewey Jamerson "Lefty" got his break in the bigs on August 24, 1924 with the Red Sox. Lefty pitched in one inning and gave up one hit and 2 ER for an ERA of 18.00. Lefty did not record any at bats during his one game, perhaps because his reputation had already been established, and ended his major league career with the end of the game.
