Overall Career
William Lawrence Gardner was born on May 13 1886, 1951 in Enosburg Vermont. "Larry" played third base for the Red Sox from 1908 to 1917. He then played for the the Philadelphia Athletics and finished his career for the Cleveland Indians in 1924. After he retired he took over as a coach and athletic director for his Alma Mater the University of Vermont. Larry died on March 11, 1976.
