Tarver's Moments in the Sun
- The three game stretch from July 19, 1986 to July 22, 1986, was by the far the greatest moment in La Schelle's 13 game career. During that stretch he had a 3-game hit streak (accounting for all 3 of his career hits) and his one and only career RBI. Tarver recorded that RBI, by driving in Dwight Evans in the 5th inning of a 9-4 win over the Seattle Mariners on July 19, 1986.
