Overall Career
John Aloysius Heving was born on April 29, 1896, in Covington, Kentucky. Heving was 24 years old when he broke into the big leagues on September 24, 1920, with the St. Louis Browns.
Heving had an 8-year career as a catcher. In 399 games he batted .265 with 1 HR and 90 RBI.
