Overall Career
Fast Tracked from Single A, outfielder Joe Lahoud began his career in baseball as the replacement for the injured Tony Conigliaro. He made his debut on April 10, 1968.
Joe was not known to be brilliant against curveballs. His career numbers over 791 games were: BA-.223/SLG-.372/OBP-.334/HR-65 After leaving the Red Sox in 1971 (see "Transactions" below), Lahoud went on to play for the Milwaukee Brewers,California Angels, Texas Rangers, and finished off his career with the Kansas City Royals.
