Gerald Peter Remy was born November 8, 1952 in Fall River, Massachusetts. He has made a career out of baseball, first as a player and now as a color commentator for NESN and Fox.

Jerry was drafted in 1971 by the California Angels. He played there for three years before being traded to the Boston Red Sox. There he played for seven years as the second baseman.
