Overall Career
Janeski was signed by the Sox in 1965. On March 9, 1970 he was sent by the Boston Red Sox to the Chicago White Sox to complete an earlier deal made on December 13, 1969. The Boston Red Sox sent Syd O'Brien and Billy Farmer (minors) to the Chicago White Sox for Gary Peters and Don Pavletich. Billy Farmer refused to report to his new team. The Boston Red Sox sent Janeski to the Chicago White Sox to complete the trade. He won his major league debut against the Milwaukee Brewers going 7.2 innings with 2 ER and 7 K's. He would finish the year at 10-17, 3rd in the American League in losses.
On February 9, 1971 he was traded by the Chicago White Sox to the Washington Senators for Rick Reichardt. He went 1-5 in 23 games in 1971 and 0-1 in 4 games in 1972. In his three year career Janeski went 11-23 with a 4.72 ERA.
