• Jean Yawkey was the wife of highly-regarded Red Sox owner Tom Yawkey.
• She and her husband ran the team for 60 years together and after Tom Yawkey's death in 1976, she took over as Team President until her death in 1992.
• First woman to be elected a Director of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.
