Wilson's Moments in the Sun
- 7/17/1936 - After coming on in relief in a game against the St. Louis Browns, Wilson would get a chance to deliver the win for himself and the team. He did just that with a game-winning single, giving the Red Sox the 5-4 win.
- 7/30/1937 - For the second year in a row, Wilson delivered more than what was expected from him when called upon in relief. Knocking in the decisive run in the 10th frame, Jack gave the Beantown squad a victory.
