Overall Career
Isaac Morgan Boone was born on February 17, 1897, in Samantha, Alabama. Boone was 25 years old when he broke into the big leagues on April 22, 1922, with the New York Giants.
Boone had an 8-year career as an outfielder. In 356 games he batted .321 with 26 HR and 194 RBI. He had a career BA of .370 in the minor leagues, and in 1929 he set an organized baseball record with 553 total bases while batting .407 with 55 homers and 218 RBI.
