Overall Career
Forrest Leroy Cady was born on January 26, 1886, in Bishop Hill, Illinois. Cady was 26 years old when he broke into the big leagues on April 26, 1912, with the Boston Red Sox.
Cady had a 7-year career as a catcher. In 355 game he batted .240 with 216 hits, 1 HR and 74 RBI. After his playing days, Cady was a Minor League Umpire. He died in 1946 in a hotel room fire.
