Herb Hash was born in 1911 and was given arguably the greatest name ever. Unbelievably, Hash is still with us today, he is the 11th oldest living person to play in a Major League Baseball game.

Overall Career
Herbert Howard Hash, the original Triple H, made 12 starts for Boston in 1940, appearing in 34 games overall. Herb was already 29 years of age in his Rookie season. He would then make 4 appearances in 1941, finishing off his career. Hash lost to the Yankees and Monte Pearson in his first career start, and had limited success throughout his short career. Herb compiled a career ERA of 4.98, winning eight times while losing seven.
Hash's Moments in the Sun
Herb Hash was the winning pitcher in a May 5, 1940 game in which the Red Sox beat the Detroit Tigers in walk-off fashion.
