Sox and the Hazleton Red Sox
The Red Sox moved back to Hazleton in 1937, moving from Elmira, NY. The Sox had previously been in Hazleton in 1932, the first season the Sox affiliated with a minor league association.
The Red Sox made the playoffs in each of their two seasons in Hazleton. They lost in the first round in 1937... but went to the championship series in 1938, losing to former affiliate Elmira.
