Overall Career
Harry Meiggs Wolter was born on July 11, 1884, in Monterey, CA. Wolter was 22 years old when he broke into the big leagues on May 14, 1907, with the Cincinnati Reds.
Wolter had a seven-year career. He was an outfielder, but also pitched for twp years. As a pitcher he finished with four wins, 29 Ks and a 3.75 ERA in 84.0 IP. In 588 total games, he batted .270 with 514 hits, 12 HR and 167 RBI. He twice led the Pacific Coast League in batting. After his playing days, he coached at Stanford University for 26 years.
