Overall Career
Harry Taylor (May 20, 1919 - November 5, 2000) was signed by the Chicago White Sox in 1938, but didn't get to the majors until 1946. He went 10-5 as a rookie with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947 and started Game Four of the World Series. But a sore arm forced his removal after he faced just four batters.
Taylor pitched parts of three seasons in Boston from 1950 to 1952, compiling a 7-9 record with 2 saves, 31 strikeouts, 56 walks and a 4.65 ERA in 110.1 innings pitched.
