Harold Chandler Janvrin was born on August 27, 1892, in Haverhill, MA. Janvrin was 18 years old when he broke into the big leagues on July 9, 1911, with the Boston Red Sox.
Janvrin had a 10-year career as an infielder. In 759 games, he batted .232 with 515 hits, 6 HR and 210 RBI.
