George Leslie Cochran played 24 games, almost entirely at third base, for the 1918 Red Sox. That was his major league career.

Overall Career

Cochran, 29 years old, was the leadoff hitter for Kansas City, the eventual winner of the 1918 American Association pennant.

Cochran joined the Red Sox in late July and made his debut on July 29. He batted .117 (7-for-60) for Boston and had an on-base percentage of .264. He did not play in the World Series.
