Red Sox and the Pioneers
The Sox moved back to the Eastern League (from a one year association with the Knoxville Smokies of the Southern Association), moving to Elmira New York. They would only play here for one year... but would later have a longer relationship with the Elmira Pioneers of the current New York-Penn League. They would move to Hazleton, Pennsylvania for the 1937 season.
