Edward Antonio Rogers (born August 29, 1978 in San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic) is the current starting shortstop for the Pawtucket Red Sox. An infielder with an above average glove, Rogers can play shortstop, second base, third base and the corner outfield positions. He bats and throws right handed.

Overall Career
Signed as an undrafted free agent by the Baltimore Orioles in 1997, Rogers spent nine seasons in the Orioles organization, appearing in a total of 30 games with the big club. He signed a minor league contract with the Boston Red Sox in December 2006 and was invited to spring training. After failing to make the team, Rogers was assigned to Triple-A Pawtucket.

- March 7, 2007: During a spring training game against the New York Mets, Rogers belted a walkoff grand slam off Mets reliever Ambiorix Burgos, propelling the Red Sox to a 9-5 victory before a sellout crowd of 8,204 at City of Palms Park.
