Earl Johnson
From SoSH
Earl Douglas "Lefty" Johnson (April 2, 1919 - December 3, 1994). He played for the Red Sox from 1940 - 1941, and 1946 - 1951, as a pitcher. He batted and threw right-handed (the nickname was counterintuitive... just kidding-- left-handed).
